Mon.Feb14th. Allan Donaldson was out fishing Monday morning and coming down through the Clump pool about 9.45 Allan was delighted to catch a lovely 9lb Salmon it was carrying a few sea lice. Its the first one to come off Cornhill and the second one off the Carron so far this season.
This one is three days earlier than the first springer that i landed last season on February 17th. The weather the last week has been very changeable with bitterly cold winds we now have two storms forecast to hit over the next four days so we will see how that goes.
